i got this funny idea the other day, i wanted to make a print-transfer to a pillow case. the print was from my 5x5 cm's of fame in the norwegian elle decoration from the march issue this year. i wrote about it here. so this is how it turned out ...on a linen cushion case. a very nice memory ...as i am considering changing my blog address... during fall/winter.

anyway, next to the pillow is my ongoing knitting project, a large blanket -stuffed into my beloved leather tote bag

fail-safe knitting

i know knitting patterns can be completely non understandable at times...or even all the time. 

so...

i was so happy when i came across nikki gabriels knitting construction kits, they look pretty fail-safe to me

"a manual on how to knit basic shapes, and construct multiple garments by assemblage"

oh, i really like the bolero, ... perhaps a fail-safe knitting project for me this autumn...?
